Can anyone help me with my planned move to Brazil?

Can anyone help me with my planned move to Brazil?
Oi! I want to move to Brazil in to become fluent in portuguese and to experience the culture and life there more. I would even consider living there permanently if i could find work. I did a study abroad there and absolutely fell in love with the whole vibe of Brazil. I'm going back for two weeks for Carnaval this year to check out Rio and Sao Paulo (the two cities I'm considering moving to). I don't know much portuguese , but I have the rosetta stone level 1, 2, and 3 software. So hopefully I'll be at least at a conversational level by Carnaval and have a pretty good handle on the language by the time I move there. I will have my masters degree and a substantial ammount of money saved by the time I actually move there. I don't want to live off of my savings entirely so I'd like to find a way to generate income while there. I'm currently liviing and working in the UAE which is like the exact opposite of Brazil and I can't wait to leave. I will probably be in the UAE for a couple more months for financial reasons, and then I plan to finish my last semester of school in the US before moving to Brazil. So January 2010 will be the soonest i move there. I need information on the following: 1) Cost of living info (rent, transportation, and utilities) 2) Health care info (hospital and insurance) 3) Emplyment/Business opportunities in Brazil 4) Best areas to live in, and why 5) Any programs such as a lauguge or cultural exchange that would make getting a temporary residence visa easier and fit with my goals for moving there 6) General imput on life in Brazil and advice I know its alot to answer so feel free to email me. Hello, excuse my English so bad. I just want to alert this country. South American soy (for me, Brazil is South America) work in fashion. I had to travel to several cities in Brazil, I had to live in Brazil for 2 years. I suffer from depression. The worst thing in my life. Country crowded malicious, superficial, which only cares about the body and the money, full of transactions. People are generally ugly and hypocritical. What you see on TV is nothing more than advertising. The holidays are horrible, just prostitution .. only electronica, no other type of music! horrible food .. assaults, bored .. We are never feel at home. IS THE PLACE OF THE EARTH less welcoming................

Stay away of Rio and São Paulo. You should visit Fortaleza, Aracaju, João Pessoa... You don´t need to be worried about hospitals and places to stay or where to eat, because it´s very easy to have access to these services here. Vitória is extremely beautiful. Unfortunatelly, one of our best cities, Florianopolis, suffered the same tragedy that happened in New Orleans. Curitiba, Brasília, and the countryside of São Paulo´s state are very confortable and beautiful. The girl above is spanish, and there was a diplomatic war between Spain and Brazil, because they treat us as criminals. They´re stupids.
