Why are Americans so boring?
Its like say if Greece or Brazil or Italia were to win the World Cup, the whole country will shutdown for a week and celebrate with friends family nite life popping til sunrise whether Monday or Saturday...With American sports they "state" wins and they considered "world" champs the clap with a lil fireworks and go home and the next day its business as usual stuck in traffic...ZzZzZz...I find American life to be more about money making rather than passion and pride and nationalism! ...Also same thing goes with their weddings. They do not know how to feast drink and party til sunrise. Wedding ends like at 10pm...What a surprise coming here...see ya!

why are you so fascinated if americans are boring. you sure know an awful lot about american life. youre really an american yourself aren't you lol. oh and weddings at 10 because for the bride and groom thats when the real party begins

Because Americans are not that interested in Soccer. If our team wins the Super Bowl, or NBA finals though, it's another story. It's not "nationalism" like in other countries because we compete against ourselves, we have more state and city pride.

LOL Very very true. I know why because I am a middle eastern living in America and I can see what the differences are in terms of culture. First of all, America has WAY too many laws. EVERY fcuking thing is illegal in this country. You can get arrested for singing outside if people don't want you to do it (don't believe me? I have links, just ask). Everything is illegal here. There is no way people could party in the streets or shout all loud or do anything FUN because everything is illegal. Bars close early, you can't smoke anywhere, you can't be loud outside, you can't gather more than 20 people outside without the police coming. Second of all, Americans can often have a lazy mentality where they just live vicariously through their TVs. Rather than actually participating in something, most Americans just watch it on TV. Third of all, Americans want instant gratification. If something exciting happens, they want to miss the event and then watch only the HIGHLIGHTS of the event on TV or somewhere like that. They are only interested in HIGHLIGHTS of things and not the actual event. Fourth of all, Americans tend to have smaller families than we do overseas. American families are small and conservative and their weddings aren't such a big deal like they are overseas. Smaller families = smaller weddings. Americans are different. But it is their culture. Everyone's culture is different!

I don't think that makes Americans boring; it just makes Americans more responsible. There's a time and place to play.
