Toronto job for very attractive girl? Need to make GOOD money FAST.?
I need to make money FAST in Toronto. I'm looking for suggestions from people in Toronto that might know of jobs/places to work. I need to make AT least 2000 a month, although 3500+ would solve a lot of my problems. I need money for my school year - this is my life - please don't waste your time or mine. Only useful suggestions please! Relevant info: I am a 23 year old female I'm a Computer Science student very early into my degree I'm extremely attractive, impeccably groomed and well-dressed. I really stand out physically I am educated, well-spoken, and charismatic - I have an easy time talking to anybody I am from Brazil. I speak portuguese and english fluently. My accent does not hinder communication I've completed a course on court interpreting - I don't remember what it officially qualifies me to do, but bottom line is I can interpret or translate portuguese-english and english-portuguese I have some classical ballet training and I'm very physically capable I will put up with a LOT of stuff (annoying co-workers, long shifts, manual labour, and more) if I'm being payed well I don't have my own car although I have access to one every once n a while I'd rather work close to where I'll be living (The Beaches) or downtown - but anywhere is fine as long as public transportation will get me there Thank you for your time, everyone. If the admistration can successfully place a moratorium on drilling in the Gulf - which has approximately 30 productive rigs and reduces our dependency on foreign oil, then we would have to buy oil from companies like Petrobras - a state owned Brazilian company which also includes Obama buddy George Soros in the mix. It is not comforting that Ken Salazar is getting ready to slam another moratorium on the Gulf, given the federal judge in Louisiana kicked his previous one out of court.

I have a Brazilian friend who works as a baggage handler at JFK international airport and he told me that he makes more money than his uncle who works as a police officer in Goiania. This is why Brazil will never become a first world country.

It might be true, but ask this friend of yours how much he spends per month in the US and you'll realize that this "make more money" thing is just an illusion.

There are facts in this case, (wage differences) but a faulty assumption. There are other reasons why Brasil is struggling in "placement" in this world. And, the dollar variation has pros/con depending upon who is trading and who is receiving. Brazil's economy is strengthening in some secotrs and the dollar is rather weak incomparison to the Real. So, I'm seeing a brighter future for Brazilians if the ongoing corruption and crime problems (in some areas) can be resolved.

How can I hitchhike from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Los Angeles, California ?
Im goin' to hitchhike from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Los Angeles, California with very little money. Im wondering if anyone has any tips to give me. As how to make money on the road, what to bring with me, the best routes to take, dangers, stuff like that... Thanks a lot

I would definitely discourage you from partaking on a hichhiking journey from Brazil to California. But if it helps: travel with another person that you trust read up on survival books (so you know how to battle hypothermia, survive the elements...) If a person giving you a ride acts even remotely suspicious or if you feel uncomfortable, leave ASAP Pack only essentials (you will develop a hateful relationship with your backpack, dont make it worse by bringing along unneccesary weight) keep a stash of cash for EMERGENCIES Do your research on visa options in the countries you will be entering before you leave Rio And lastly, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, so no acting immature or idiotic in public - try not to stand out too much or you will be the target of the wrong people and you will end up in a tight situation quicker than you can imagine

If you were drawing a map and wanted the easiest route from Rio to L.A. it would likely look like this: Take the ferry from Rio to Buenos Aires. From there follow the Pan American Highway to Las Vegas. From Vegas it is an easy hop to L.A.
