Safe way to mail from Brazil to USA?

Safe way to mail from Brazil to USA?
On my last visit to Brazil I purchased a very nice piece of jewelry ($2,500 USD) for my mom's 50th birthday. Unfortunately, I'm a dope and I left the bag it was in at one of my friend's relatives house. To make a long story short, I want to send my friend's family enough money (and instructions) to ship the bag to me so it will arrive safely and legally. I am willing to pay whatever I need to. Besides the jewlery, the bag also contains a Dell laptop I bought in the summer of 2006 and some clothes I bought. Does anyone know how I can ship my things to the US from Brazil. Its a small bag and weighs maybe 5 lbs? Again, I want it to arrive here safely. Thank you for your response in advance.

Use either , Fedex or DHL. or Why don't you try and get a cheap air ticket and just go down and collect it.

You can use any courier, even the Brazilian post office (it's just as safe as the USPS) as long as you're able to ensure your package for the full amount. You're shipping really expensive stuff...your main concern should not be so much the Brazilian post office or UPS or FEdex, but you have to find put with US Customs how much they're gonna charge for you to receive that stuff. Maybe there'll be no cost, but sometimes they make you pay taxes on things you get from abroad, and they wont give the item to you unless you pay.

I would try to find someone to take the stuff. For expensive stuff it´s really risky to send by mail. If you live in Brazil and can insure the package (because if you try to claim anything from overseas, forget it) then at least you would have some peace of mind.

What is a good job for a foreigner with no college degree?
I didn't get any answers on a previous question, but I need to know of a good job that I came make pretty good money with WITHOUT a college degree. The particular country is Brazil is that matters. I would like to be able to make enough money to support a family and, you know, have things. Does anybody have any ideas? And NOT the internet selling sites that I constantly get answers from - - By the way, I'm American and wanting to go to Brazil

How can I highlight my blogs on my resume?

How can I highlight my blogs on my resume?
I run two cultural blogs where I teach people about Brazil & Colombia as well as teach the Portuguese language. I have been doing this for 2 years, averaging 40 posts per month and will shortly reach 1,000 posts. I keep it as professional as possible and receive a good amount of traffic on a daily basis, therefore I would like to highlight it on my resume. The only thing is I make no money from this. Thanks

If the blogs have nothing to do with the jobs you are applying to, omit them. If they apply to what you are applying to, list them as a skill/interest with the address listed
2 :
The purpose of a resume is to get an interview. So if your blogs will make the prospective employer jump to interview you then perfect. If not, then leave them off.

Well in my opinion, it's really cool having coins/money from other countries. If you really don't care for it, than yeah you can exchange it. You also can keep it to use maybe again.. Not sure.
3 :
Well, if you trade them, the cost of the exchange would end up cutting the value. You do have to pay a fee to exchange currency. I don't know what your intent was, but you won't break even and certainly not a profit.

Do you believe the Netherlands manipulated some of their games to get money from the dealer?

Do you believe the Netherlands manipulated some of their games to get money from the dealer?
The stopped scoring after 3 yesterday and then allowed a goal at the end to make a one goal differential. They allowed an unnecessary goal at the end to slovakia to make a one goal differential Also against Brazil they stopped after the 2nd goal

What a stupid question! I'm sorry but you clearly have no knowledge of football. In both games they thought they had already won, so they lost a bit of concentration.
