it's not 'becuz it makes money from timber'. that's quite a strange question, as surely a 'good example of a middle income country' is one that has a very average national income per capita relative to others around the world. what is interesting about Brazil is that it has recently industrialised and has started to encourage FDI into the country. this allows for increased levels of economic growth with the country's output steadily rising over recent decades after problems with its attempted growth through import substitution industrialisation.

My girlfriend is an illegal from Brazil. She dances at a topless club and has a fake Green Card. Shall we?
deport her? The club, located in Key West, withholds 10% of the girl's earnings and sends it to the IRS as they do for all waitresses. Her Green Card is a fake with a fake Social Security number. She makes outrageous money there, sometimes $1000.00 per night In the past year she has paid almost $17,000.00 in taxes. Should we deport her or use the money to pay down the National Debt?

Yes. She broke the law in getting here, she is also committing fraud.
2 :
Deport her. We all know Obama doesnt care about the national debt
3 :
I'll bet...
4 :
It all depends on the size of her boobs.
5 :
She could be a disease carrier.

Personally, i favor amnesty for illegals. But with $100s of thousands of dollars of socialism per person here in the United States we cant afford it. If we get rid of the unconstitutional socialism, we can afford to have freedom the way our country was intended.

can a brotha get a table dance?
8 :
Well given that this story is a complete fake I'd say do as you please. On the other hand I will doubt immigrations officials will deport her after she gives them a good blow and a lap dance. It always pay to be good looking. :)
9 :
She should be deported. She is breaking the law.

Well, let's see. I guess she deserves a waiver and a real green card. I'm thinking that in Key West there isn't another person willing to toss 'em. Give me a break - put her on the next plane and charge her for the ticket.

what a lie yea ill bet she pays taxes on her tips numb nuts
12 :
How does she file for taxes with a fake SSN#
13 :
Deport her. There's plenty of girls here legally who can replace her.
14 :
Dude she sounds freaking hot. Can i get a lap dance or what?!?
15 :
Since you picked the gayest island in America as the site for your story.I tend to doubt the truth of it Btw Strippers are independent contractors.
16 :
an illegal what? I hate that Justin Bieber guy.

I'm Brazilian and I must to say denounce her to immigration. She don't need to live in any other country to get money. Brazil has enough. I Invite all to visit my Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/AllAboutBrazil

is Brazil a 3rd world country?

is Brazil a 3rd world country?
I mean obviously the country is doing pretty well for themselves financially, they have new large oil deposits, they have many products they sell and they export to many places like china and make great money, they have technology, cars, buildings, businesses...everything we have here in America but they also have many poor poor people, slums that look like you're in a 3rd world country, directly by richer upper class parts of town, the murder/robbery/crime rate is very high, and much of the country as a whole does not have paved roads and even if they do they are very poorly done.

Police Officers in Brazil?

Police Officers in Brazil?
How much do Police Officers in Brazil make? I was just asking because I have a degree in Criminal Justice. And I'm deploying for Iraq in a few weeks, but I figure if I save my money form the military, I'd have enough to buy a house in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) but I know I'll need to keep getting money so I would just join the Police force down there. So if you guys could help me, I'd appreciate it.

It really depends, it can go from about R$1.000,00 to about R$10.000,00. That, of couse, assuming you're an honest person. But police officers are completely unethical in here, so most of them make much more than just what they get from their salaries.

Foreigners cannot enter in the Brazilian police, the course that you have do not have diploma equivalence in Brazil, or be like the United States don't recognize the graduation diplomas emitted in Brazil, Brazil doesn't recognize the diplomas emitted in the United States also. To enter in the police it is necessary to participate in public contest that involves several stages the first of them is knowledge proof in Portuguese, mathematics, social studies and Brazilian laws. After approved in these stages there is proof of physical conditioning and last the psychological exam.
