Does anyone plan to watch Art Of War 3 MMA on June 30th?

Does anyone plan to watch Art Of War 3 MMA on June 30th?
It's MMA in a cage just like the UFC. There's so much time in between UFC live events, I think this will take off and fill the gaps. They have a pay per view event on June 30th, 2007 featuring Jeff "Monsoon" Monson vs. Pedro Rizzo (both UFC stars) which caps off a USA vs. Brazil theme. What do you think? Is this a dumb investment or is there a chance it could launch? It's only .05 cents a share. Risking only a little could make good money if it's only moderately successful.

At $0.05 a share, i would buy into it too. put a couple hundred dollars into a growing sport...it's not a bad idea. UFC is the most popular but i don't think people are to picky when it comes to watching good fights.

Due to high gas prices why doesnt the U.S. look into making fuel from sugarcane like they are in Brazil?

Due to high gas prices why doesnt the U.S. look into making fuel from sugarcane like they are in Brazil?
Its been 30 years since the gas crisis in the 1970's. Why didnt we move toward different fuel sources after that? Are U.S. congressmen and senators backed by "big oil" that they dont look at alternatives because they would stand to lose money. We could put farmers to work growing sugarcane....

no....it turns out it takes more energy to make biofuel... better off finding something else or god forbid we start conserving.
2 :
1. Big oil is in control to some extent. 2. We cannot grow the amount of sugar cane that Brazil grows due to climate.
3 :
Because biofuels are not cost-effective, and cause high fuel prices to spread into higher food prices. Soon everything will cost more... sounds like artificial inflation to me. I have an idea; let's drill for oil in our own country, and maybe build a refinery or ten. It will drop the price of both crude oil and its component products, employ thousands of unionized Americans, reduce the trade deficit, support the dollar, and stop enriching terrorist-friendly regimes. We could build some nuclear plants as well. We don't need undiscovered pie-in-the-sky solutions; we have solutions that work, but won't employ them for political reasons. Hope is not a strategy. Neither is change.
4 :
We could import ethanol form Brazil, but the Congress imposed a tariff to discourage it. Apparently alternative fuels are a good idea only in so far as they subsidize American agri-business.
5 :
You're right, we should have moved towards a different fuel since the 1970's. The one word answer to your question is politics! But converting corn to bio-fuel is a bad idea because it almost takes as much energy to make it as you can get from it. However, converting sugarcane to bio-fuel is much better. But the USA has price support for the domestic production of sugar. The domestic sugar is about double the price of international sugar. The domestic sugar lobby has connections in Washington, D.C. In Brazil, they would like to export ethanol, produced from sugar, to the USA. However the USA has a tariff on it that jacks up the price. This protects the domestic sugar producers, again. We got the best government money can buy!
6 :
You know Brazil over a decade ago bought a lot of the EU wine lake to convert into fuel. Now why didn't the EU do that themselves one asks. In fact every motorist in the world would love to know these kind of things how to make items we have a surplus of to make fuel. I sure would and I don't drive have not for seven years in fact but I still have an interest in motoring. Where are the plants in Europe turning our wine lake into fuel? Why have they not got the Brazilians to shear this great achievement with the rest of the world. A world where what is not needed can be used when in surplus to fuel our transport systems.
7 :
Because our government is always a slower learner than one expects.
8 :
Synthetic fuel is better. Converts biomass, coal or natural gas. It's best to keep your options open.
9 :
Our farmers should be put to work growing food. Not fuel. Burning food in our cars and trucks is immoral and obscene. Wait until the price of food rockets upward like gasoline is. The howling and whining will be loud indeed. And it is coming soon. Ethanol is a cruel hoax being pushed by the liberals and environmental wackos. The gas crisis in the 1970's was caused by Jimmy the buffoon Carter interfering with oil production and refining. There is an important lesson in that. Expensive gas is better than no gas.
10 :
The legend of food crisis was created by an oompa-loompa called Hugo Chavez. Brazil ALWAYS used alternative energy, and today we have millions of cars using biofuels, without any food crisis. And it´s only US$ 0,50/liter, with the same efficiency of gasoline.

Why is Mexico playing against Bolivia ,New Zealand and Ecuador ?
This is just sad just because they dont want to spend too much money in big teams like England,Germany,Italy,Portugal,Brazil,Argentina etc its about making a big profit not quality in teams Mexico plays against I do think they are going to play against Holland but its still pitiful

3 :
Cause if we play against ITaly they might dive through the entire game!
4 :

5 :

6 :
oh great, another retard who thinks he's smart.
7 :
we should boycott them i wish no mexico fan goes and see them we dont want to play these lame teams no offense to them it sickens me to hear we have to play this team i might not as well not watch them in the world cup didnt we beat boliva 5-2 and ecuador 2-1 why again are they stupid
8 :
Dude i know its so lame Mexican Soccer will never grow with bs like this what happen to all the promises that Delatorre made where the world class teams at damn some straight up bs
9 :
BAD decision from FMF
10 :
They cant play against teams that are more popular then mexico because then there would be a conflict of sponshorships and tv rights for example a mexico VS England in mexico Televisa would air the game in England their largest TV network would broadcast it but mexicos largest market is in the US. thats were the problem is in the US who would broadcast the Game Mexico would probably want Univision or Telemundo, but England wold probably ask for GoalTv or Sparta or even a PPV chanel. Thats why all the games that La Torre promised wont happen
11 :
They need the expierence to win the world cup. since they just play easy teams thats why they havnt won a world cup. They need expierence to know how they can beat the best teams
12 :
It's Campeon and Di maria trying to squeeze money into their pockets I hope the narcos do us a favor
13 :
England and Holland are teams that Mexico will play in April/May. Aguirre wants to finish his roster and needs playing time as a tryout.
14 :
Well its not official yet, Nestor De La Torre will come out with the complete schedule next week. We are playing Uruguay in the World Cup and playing two teams from the south american region is not a bad idea. By the way its preety hard by now to get good teams to play against, most teams are already playing someone else this is why we are stuck with these teams but rest assured that we will play Germany since Germany has a contract with Addidas same as Mexico.

Morelia

They care more about money that's why they play in the US, they're so cheap that they don't want to play in Europe

Wow - my head is REALLY in the clouds ...?

Wow - my head is REALLY in the clouds ...?
I'm dating a guy from Brazil - he's a carpentar, doesn't make any money, and doesn't care about anything other than going back to Brazil to live by the beach. I, on the other hand, am an only child from a very wealthy family. I make a lot of money in my job but I also deal with a lot of stress. Often I fantasize about running away to Brazil and just living on the beach, not caring about having a good job or making money ... Is my head in the clouds? Am I being absolutely ridiculous? My friends think I'm crazy.

It is a little strange that you want to leave your good paying job for a broke man in Brazil, but who am i to judge. I think stranger things in my mind on a regular basis. I wouldn't recommend that you do that, because it is not fun struggling through life or "dragging the ground". Some people say that money can't buy happiness, so maybe you should marry the guy that you like. However, i would recommend that you just drop everything and move with this man. I think that you shoud move him to where you live at so that you can live in comfort and still have money. If you want to go back and take vacations in Brazil and visit his family, then that would be a not so bad idea.
2 :
go for a holiday of a month or so. See the other side of the story. You are wealthy you can offer yourself this. Do not take drastic decisions. A man who hates to work is a looser and you will find out by yourself
3 :
don't do it unless you love him. it sounds like a fling and they aren't forever.
4 :
When we're stressed, we'll look for anything to help us escape. Running away to Brasil sounds appealing and romantic, and no doubt, you'll like have a good time -- for a while. But think in terms of your life over the long term. He may or may not be in your life very long. What if you get pregnant? Then what? What foundation are you laying for the rest of your life? You will at some point need to get your own life going. Apparently your family wealth doesn't immune you from stress. And anywhere you go, you'll experience stress, whether in the US or in Brasil. Will you going to run away again? Or will you learn to handle it in creating your own life? Of course, no one can make a life decision for you.
5 :
It depends on what you want in life. If you would be happy being with a man you love, living by the beach, and having not much else, then perhaps that is what you need. If you have been dating him for a while, and really think he is a good guy, then why not go to Brazil for a vacation, and try living like he does for a week or so? A friend of mine went to Brazil recently (she is a Brazilian-American), it is a beautiful place, but don't forget there is a lot of crime in the cities. If you like Brazil, you could study Portuguese, and try to get a job down there. You will have to think long and hard about your goals, what you want in life. Good luck!
