"Its not fair" in what way? Anyways, the upside is that you now have an opportunity to learn the real value of hard-work, achievement, and money. As much as you think this lesson is unnecessary as you already know all that... the reality is that you have no idea whatsoever unless you have pulled yourself up from hardship and poverty. As they say, you can't taste the sweet without the sour.

Life changes rather quickly sometimes. The key to surviving this low spot in your life is to learn to be happy and grateful no matter how much you have or where you are in life. Money is not everything and most of us make it without large amounts. Are you hungry? Are you homeless? Do you have people who love and care for you? Many don't have any of these things. This will be a lesson in humility and hopefully a growing and leaning period for you. Good luck.

You're right, life is not fair. But it sounds like you were given good fortune and you blew it. I guess the lesson is that money really does buy happiness. So don't take it for granted.

Take control of your destiny. Have ever thought about going to college?

    Why are most americans poor?

    Why are most americans poor?
I mean, i thought it was the first economy in the world, most americans don't have money, all they do is spend more money than what they make and live to pay credit card bills. I came from Brazil I bought my 150k house with cash, and they ask me where do i get 150k cash, lol these jealous americans.

Sort of answered your own question I think.
    2 :
Because the "working" people are taxed to pay for the ones that do nothing, except spawn more blights on society.

most of us arent poor, just cus your asked where you got money to pay for 150k house doesnt mean most americans are poor

Hello, I currently own a barbershop, every other year I save up enough money to go on vacation to various exotic locations, Thailand, Philippines, Brazil, etc... I'm bored with the day to day barber shop routine, and I wish I could find away to living out of my suitcase. Any suggestions...?\ Forget travel writing....I don't have the gift of pen...... You can be a travel agent or a salesperson. I worked for Expedia (in the call center) and they gave practically free travel to employees.

Before I left home, I be seeking and reading every word of blogs from people who are also traveling in the same area. I would think that your safety is not at all assured. Not only are there plenty of people who'd rob you for your shoes, not to mention your three hundred bucks, but have you ever walked the desert alone? Try it in southern Arizona or New Mexico before taking off. It can be grueling, the task of carrying the water you need fully daunting even if you're quite fit. I know a woman (online only) whose family is bicycling from Alaska to Argentina. I believe they're in Mexico now. Read their blog at http://familyonbikes.org/blog/

Take a lot of water because the water there is different.
