Hi everyone, I'm brazilian, I living in Hong Kong for 5 years already, I'm just not happy here. Hong Kong can be a modern city, nice, etc. but it's too depressing to be here, I hate the fact that people are materialist, they are not friendly at all, you get the picture. They always look down on you. To be honest I have no future in Hong Kong. I feel like I want to go back to Brazil, at least I'm happy there, I know its a poor country but we are stil happy, unlike hong kong people they are always greedy, thinking always how to make more money. We all know money is important but there are so many things much important than money for instance our family, friends, etc. We only have one life. Anyway I don't have a job, Is it possible to borrow money from the brazil council? What do you think? Thank yo by the way I'm 21 yrs old

Is there someone at home in Brazil who can send the money to you? Go to your consulate in Hong Kong and see what they suggest. Maybe you could get a job there since you are unemployed, speak the language and are familiar with the customs. That way you'd get money to go home where you are happy and until you return to your home, at least you'll be around similar people at the consulate. Just a thought. Hope it all works out for you. Do women apply more scrutiny when it comes to marriage?
Do women apply more scrutiny when it comes to marriage?
For example a man has no problems marrying a Filipino or a girl from Thailand or Brazil or any other country that is considered to be lesser (no bashing on that 1s second and third world are valid therms) and if she has no income potential and not even owns a bank account thats no biggy either. Do you think modern working women have as many choices or are they far more likely to restrict marriage candidates to those who come from a first world country and make their own money ?

The reason for that is evolution - people want to mate with people who can have healthy children and will help care for them. Of course, it takes a lot to determine if a guy will be faithful, be able to provide for the baby, be non-abusive, or whatever. So I suppose that's a bit different from "she looks healthy to me". I do think that most men getting married probably put a little more thought into it than that, and want a spouse with good qualities, too, but you get the idea.

I need to make $6,000 to go to Brazil as a student ambassador for soccer.It is an educational trip that teaches us about their culture,customs,lifestyles,foods and things like that.It also teaches us about responsibility and independence.(parents aren't allowed to come)We manage our own spending money and are responsible for our actions.We get trained by world class coaches and compete in a tournament against other countries.It would be an unforgettable,life changing experience.I would like to go this summer,or next summer.Any ideas for a 14 year old to make money??? Obama knows this, he was their legal council and he also trained people in tactics on how to Extort money from banks. Goldman Sachs got attacked by ACORN, their people went to the CEO's home, and they got 5 million $$ in donations from Goldman Sachs. Not only should Obama be investigated, but so should Goldman Sachs for paying them off and giving billions in bad loans at their behest. YEAH I SAID BILLIONS! WE HAD TO BAIL THEM OUT! THIS SCREAMS FOR INVESTIGATION! WHY WON'T THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT EVER INVESTIGATE DEMOCRATS WHEN THERE IS SUCH OBVIOUS PRIMA FASCIA EVIDENCE AGAINST THEM? We will never have a fair investigation by a justice department with an attorney general who is appointed by Obama. I call for, and have asked my representatives, an investigation by a independent nonpartisan committee.
