I'm assuming you're from the U.S. Obviously, you'll need a valid U.S. passport. VERY recently, Argentina began charging an entrance fee to U.S. citizens coming into Argentina, but ONLY if you enter at the airport in Buenos Aires. If you come in from Santiago, Chile, there are flights to other parts of Argentina, such as Cordoba, Argentina's 2nd largest city. This is NOT a visa, but an entrance fee that's good for 10 years. I believe it's close to 100 dollars. You will need a visa to enter Brazil legally. They force U.S. citizen's to have a visa and charge the same amount as Brazilians going to the U.S. as part of their reciprocal policy.

as the person above mentioned there is a new entrance fee when u fly into BA it is 131 american dollars they do this to try and get back at america for charging them to enter our country but anyway when going to brazil from argentina try and avoid the tri border area as it is known which is the area which paraguay brazil and argentina all meet it is known for drugs terrorist and scores of other illict things so do some research and find a safe way of entering brazil because you dont wanna b held for ransom also brush up on some common spanish and portuguese ( they are fairly similar) because it depends where u you go but sometimes you can find yourself in a situation in which nobody speaks a word of english it can be a difficult spot so its good to know enough spanish to communicate enough to get your point across also remember that you arent in united states anymore its a diff country w diff customs but you should b fine just always be alert and have fun if u have time of the oppurtunity to visit the city of tucuman, argentina i strongly suggest it ( some of the most beautiful women i have ever seen reside in yerba buena a small town just outside tucuman )

What I can give you is an idea of how to go from Buenos Aires to Brazil. If your friend lives in Buenos Aires, you may want to cross by ferry to the small and historic town of Colonia in Uruguay, and maybe stay for the day or spend the night there and then head to Montevideo, Uruguay's capital. I don't know what time of the year you are planning to come, but try to avoid cold and rainy winter (June-July-August). After Montevideo, you can head to Punta del Este, an upscale beach resort, which should be pretty quiet during low season (all months except for Dec-Feb). Then keep heading east, and go to la Fortaleza de Santa Tereza, in Rocha, and then go to the Fortin de San Miguel, and then you are in Brazil. I don't really know Brazil, but I would like to visit Curitiba.

Obama giving Brazil 2 BILLION of OUR money?

Obama giving Brazil 2 BILLION of OUR money?
Obama has given Brazil 2 billion dollars for an off shore oil rig to drill deeper then the BP rig. LINK::::::: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203863204574346610120524166.html#articleTabs%3Darticle So the question is this. Is this the reason he does not want the rigs to start drilling in the Gulf and is this yet another payback considering that George Soros has also bought into this Brazilian oil drilling??? And does it make you mad that once again he is taking jobs from Americans and doing nothing to crate jobs here??

Steve, I thought it is strange that we give a loan to a company that had profits of $17 billion last year and find it ironic that George soros bought stock in the Company sorta right before the administration announced the billion loan. I am checking this now, but was told that we have some international banker deal here and it is made up of about 50% 50% Dem/rep and this deal has been going on for a while and that it started with President Bush. The only thing I could think of is we are getting a real good rate on the loan. Still Exxon Mobile had profits of I believe $31 billion, so why the loan. Also the company drills at the depth of the rigs that have been shut down here. Will get the rest of the information on the banking people for you. Have a great 2010! Add on, the bank is called ex im bank or export import bank of America. Google that and the deal was suppose to be a done deal back in May of 2009 before an Obama appointee came on board, So it was a normal deal as the people from Bush and other presidents were still in place. Now I find it weird this bank is around and what they do loaning money to other countries. Another can to open. Since the House and Senate members will probably get $4 billion* in donations this year from the lobbyists, PACs, etc, don't count on them to upset the money. they get milllion s a yer and family are emplooyed by the lobbyists, go figure.

Why do lebanese people do good outside lebanon and not in Lebanon?

Why do lebanese people do good outside lebanon and not in Lebanon?
My father immigrated to Brazil when he was a year old only, and is a millionaire, I have lebanese relatives in Argentina and U.S as well and all of them got tons of money, and all of them worked hard to earn it. so why isn't Lebanon an developed nation?I mean we got the brains to make money working hard, can't lebanese work hard in Lebanon?

look at all of the trash who has been running our country for the past years! it seems Lebanon is good at getting leaders who care more about being a big shot, than they care about running Lebanon. there are so many major issues in Lebanon that could be fixed over a few years...but we have loosers who let the years pass without putting any action plan into place for the people!

sometimes you just find obstacles in your way.
3 :
There is more opportunity in the Americas...its simple. It comes down to opportunity to grow, and the Lebanese government surely does not help in that sense among other things.
4 :
The main reasons why Lebanon isn't developing are political instability & a limited population....without both factors it's hard to get real economic growth. Enterprising people still make good money in Lebanon but nothing like on the scale of big countries like Brazil..
5 :
very simple lebanon is based on WASTA, you know someone in the system so you are in

Brazil is moving away from oil faster then most countries, sounds like the economic hit men are putting pressure on Brazil for not obeying American corporations.

It's Obamas way of paying Soros back for helping to get him in office. The corruption does not stop there.Holder will be very busy protecting his friend.
