Im looking for an investment property in Brazil, which area should I focus my search in?
I am looking for a condo/apt or maybe a house if the price is right. I'm looking in the 350 k US and under range, i've seen plenty available in that range but I don't know which areas I should focus on. I'm looking for an area that's up and coming or with potential as opposed to what's hot and or saturated now. Preferably a place that would have a decent rental market. Would I be better off buying a couple 150k range condos instead of one higher priced unit? They wouldn't be a 2nd home for me, it'd strictly be an investment, a place I would rent out to whomever until the value increased enough for me to warrant moving it. Do you believe the potential to make money in the brazilian property market is there? Any relevant info you could add that you think I might need to know would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for all of your help

Try Itacare - it's an up and coming area - pristine beaches, surfers, getting more popular with European tourists. If you're American, you're better off investing closer to home - there are a few underpriced markets in the US that show a lot of potential.
