In Brazil, making R$600 on paycheck, is that considered good? Sufficient to live?
If someone in Brazil makes ~ R$600 on a paycheck, is that considered sufficient money? Can one provide a home for him/herself & food and necessities with that? The person is living alone. Southern Brazil. Sao Paulo area. R$1,200 every month, or R$600 2x every month. I'm Canadian, and here we are paid 2x a month. Not sure if in Brazil it is paid monthly or 2x a month.

The payment in Brazil can be made weekly (usually for workers in factory) or monthly for jobs in offices. wage of R$ 1.200,00 is a very low wage, A wage that is enough to pay rent, feeding, health insurance, clothes, condominium tax, electric power, Internet, gas. I esteem that it is of R$ 4.000,00.

In Brazil it's monthly. I don't think you can live by yourself with R$ 1.200,00 living alone. You would have to rent a room or rent a house with other people. The cost of living in Rio and São Paulo is high. Food is expensive here in Rio.
