Why does Obama want to spend money to help Brazil drill for oil?
Obama said the US will help Brazil with their offshore oil drilling. But the administration doesn't want to allow offshore drilling in the US. Does that make sense? We still have a lot of oil here in the US. Easy... Brazil takes the risks of drilling for oil instead of us. We pay a little more, but there's no oil spill to clean up if something happens.

Nobody is 100% sure where oil comes from or how much is left they theorise that its long dead dinosaurs people plants everything thats why the say fossil fuel (i never bought that to be honest it just sounds stupid ) but thats just a theory .. what happens when the middle east and other places run out ? they will want to buy oil from whoever has it and america may be the only place they can get it from one day youd make billions but if everyone burns the worlds oil up all a one then we're all screwed.

It's called foreign aid - we do it all the time. The reason why we do this is because it involves us in the economy of other countries. This might be too complex a subject for right wingers though.

Isn't brazil one of those so called emerging markets? America gives aid to brazil Britain gives aid to India Both countries then undercut the countries that give them aid .... Obama should put America first....American business and American people Strange he is helping competitors and not his own countrymen..... His actions make him popular in brazil....remember he just had a jolly there.....but not so popular with the voters of his own country The man is clueless......or maybe he is looking for another Nobel prize
